Community Involvement
Community involvement is a central part of Leia's work and life. She believes strong local businesses and strong communities grow together, so she gives her time, skills, and energy to the organizations, schools, and events that make Hudson, Marlborough, and MetroWest Massachusetts great places to live and work.
From leading the Hudson Business Association to mentoring local students and helping put on downtown events, here's where you'll find her around town.
Leadership & Memberships
Leia serves in leadership roles with the business, civic, and volunteer groups that keep our local community connected:
-
President, Hudson Business Association
-
Board of Directors, Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce
-
Hudson Cultural Council
-
Newsletter volunteer, Marlborough Junior Woman's Club
-
Member, CSF Marlborough Dollars for Scholars
-
Vice President, MetroWest Women's Network
Throughout the year, you'll also find her helping with downtown events like Celebrate Hudson, Hudson ArtsFest, the Downtown Summer Music Series, Downtown Trick or Treat, and the Hudson Holiday Stroll.
Supporting Local Students
Leia is an internship mentor for Maynard High School's school-to-career program, giving students hands-on experience with real marketing projects. Each year she also hosts a table at the MHS Career Fair to help students explore careers in marketing, media, and small business.
As a member of CSF Marlborough Dollars for Scholars, she helps raise scholarship funds for local students through community events and fundraisers like Mahjong for a Cause.
