Leia Owen, President of the Hudson Business Association

Leia Owen, HBA President

As President of the Hudson Business Association, Leia Owen helps lead a volunteer-run network of local businesses in Hudson, MA. The HBA connects members through monthly lunch meetings, coffee networking, pop-up events and community events like the Hudson Holiday Stroll, and helps local businesses get seen by customers and by each other.

Much of Leia's work with the HBA is in-kind: designing event and member materials, running social media and email communications, building templates the organization can reuse, and keeping meetings and events organized so members can take part without adding to their workload.

Why join the HBA?

The Hudson Business Association is one of the easiest ways for a local business to get connected in town. Members meet other owners, hear what's happening downtown, find referral partners, and get chances to promote their business at community events, all without a big time commitment.

Who it's for

Shops, restaurants, service providers, home-based businesses, nonprofits, and professionals who live or work in Hudson. Whether you've been here for decades or just opened your doors, you're welcome.

Signature events

The Hudson Holiday Stroll is the HBA's biggest event of the year, bringing families downtown to shop local, visit with neighbors, and kick off the holiday season. Members can take part as hosts, sponsors, or vendors. Throughout the year, lunch meetings, coffee networking, and pop-up events keep members connected between the big moments.

Working together for Hudson

The HBA works alongside the Town of Hudson and the Downtown Hudson Business Improvement District so local businesses have a voice and a seat at the table. When a downtown project, event, or change affects businesses, the HBA helps share information and gather feedback.
